This demo has really good atmosphere, good graphics and the lighting was spot on, which all added to the creepy vibe you'll expect from this. The only issue for me was the head bobbing motion. Apart from that, very enjoyable demo and I look forward to the full game!
This horror game really did its thing was not just by the soundtrack alone, the story is also amazing 10/10 recommended will definitely play the whole game when it comes out. p.s the intro song is a certified BOP

I'll be honest, I thought this was going to be just another cheesy abandoned house game, but MAN was I wrong. There was something so sinister about the entire space, and it only got more and more unbearable to be in the house as time went on. Well done.👏🏻👏🏻 I wish I hadn't been so desperate to escape because I definitely neglected to explore the space as much as possible lol but the terror was too real!

Nice demo, and just a quick suggestion. You really should add actual threats to your games, because without those your games turn into walking jumpscare simulator's. Good walking jumpscare simulator's, but it's still a big drawback.
From the darkness had everything going for it, excellent atmoshpere and scares, but the lack of any danger made it pretty underwhelming in the end.
Im aware that the apartement in that game was very small and it would be very tough to add a romaning enemy in such a closed space, but still.
Having no threats draws back your games a lot, think about it.
I don't know what we were expecting, but it wasn't to be THIS scared. The house is terrifying with lots to explore. The parts where the house layout changes are amazing! It literally made us think we were lost before realizing there was a wall where there wasn't one before. I would recommend putting the armoire back on the back staircase when the wall forms at the top of the stairs because it is possible to go back up the stairs from behind it and kind of glitch through. We are very impressed and will play more of your games!
I really wanted to start out by saying that N4bA is starting to become one of my fav Horror Game Creators of all time... From The Darkness & Wrong Floor we're some of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had.. and I have experienced alot of Horror Games xD Highly recommend playing those as well.
When I saw this Demo, I knew it was going to be a terrifying experience and I wasn't disappointed. The Attention to Detail, Atmosphere, Visuals, Setting, Sound Design & Pacing literally blow me away... It makes me feel so immersed right at the get go, and genuinely question my life choices if I want to continue and that's what I want from a Horror game. I seriously can not wait for the full release of this game and highly recommend these games to anyone that want to experience true horror.
First game in a long time to get me psychologically worked up! Only downside I had was no ability to go down the slide, which is very very minor 😂 Can't wait for the full game!

Having played a fair few indie horror games and demos recently, it's been a while since I encountered a game that genuinely made me feel unsettled and worried about what might be lurking around the next corner. 9 Childs St is one of the few that did so - the visuals are stunning, and though it starts out simple enough, it wasn't long before I began to feel that all-pervading sense of dread as I uncovered what was in the house. An excellent demo!

This game is surprisingly creepy its not even the actual scares that got me the most its just the atmosphere if you want to see me talk about it in more depth while playing (and making some jokes) here's the video i made on this game

Finally a horror game where being short adds up! I really like the direction this game is going. I already have a fear of dolls so this was great. Would love to see the doll in more places for scare factor, cause that was creepy and unsettling. Good job dev!
When I see the tag "atmospheric horror", I usually think of games that don't kill you, but have jump scares, some type of enemy that forces you to run, or scary visuals that just bombard your eyes. This demo took all those concepts, slapped on constant, eerie white noise, and made you play as a 9 year old with absolutely no regard for his life.
For a short demo, this game feels really fleshed out in terms of story and game elements, but there were a few things that I felt would've made the experience just a bit more frightening: make the flashlight run out or have to be put away and have instances where you can just see something out of the corner of your eye. Of course, being a demo, it'll be exciting to see the direction and what is added once the full game is up for play.
My playthrough (yes, the crackling sound and small noises you hear are ambiance from the game that made me think I was going hearing things in my house):
I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The atmosphere was incredible. The noises made me freeze, even that doll made me stare at it and not want to move or look away.
This game was so scary it made me question life itself. Very well made, it was so fun!. Here's a playthrough if you're interested. it goes public tomorrow.
Well that scared the absolute sh*t out of me! I even teared up 😢 thank you so much for that! The sound team should get a payrise, when I stepped towards the house and the atmospheric bass noise kicked in, had me on edge for the entire demo. Can't wait for the game!

This game looks and plays so well, I experienced a few audio glitches but overall a fantastic experience!
