Well, sometimes all a game needs to be scary is a properly spooky antagonist, and this scarred giant is definitely an unpleasant presence in the game. It's already a spooky area and plenty of great spooky noises. And when you turn and see this bastard glaring at you, it's almost always effective.
It is a bit bare bones, just leading you by the nose to the scares without much context beyond one article, but nonetheless, what is here is incredible effective.
A strange, creepy and spine tingling horror game where you fall down into the basement of the building, little did you know that there was something lurking in the darkness.
There is nice use of ambient sounds that really add to the confined cramped spaces of the basement and leaves you quite unsettled. The basement itself is nicely designed with rusty doors and dirty hallways, although sadly it felt a little bare boned and would of felt better if there were more things to look at or more news articles to read about "the one that lives in the basement" but this is only a minor detail.
The game itself is a great horror experience and is unique in its genre, it is a great playthrough.
Ok! This was VERY spooky. The atmosphere and music was very fitting and I nearly crapped my pants. I played this apart of my 3 Scary Games Series! In this video it was the second game. Keep it up Devs!

Oh man, this game nearly gave me a heart attack, like multiple times through my playthrough. Extremely simple yet effective and creepy. I want to know why and how, but maybe some times are better left unsaid
One of the scariest games I have played. I just had to keep stopping and forcing myself to continue. Great game the atmosphere is perfect and it doesn't rely on cheap jump scares! I recommend!
Alright everyone, here's a review of the game that'll probably get lost in the reviews because of how many people are playing it and promoting their video (I would know because I'm gonna be one of those people BUT LISTEN UP IF YOU JUST INTEND TO PLAY IT YOURSELF). The game itself doesn't bring anything new to the horror genre, but what it does SO RIGHT is the atmosphere of the setting. Honestly, you're just in a basement level floor. Sure, creepy as all basements are, but oh god. You can barely see anything. Everything you can see you have to be right in front of to have a clear view. You're walking and you're expecting to be scared at every corner. This game legit has made me scared to progress so many times, and I feel like that's a good thing in a horror game. I was a little confused as to the controls here and there, but I seemed to get the hang of it after a while. If you guys are looking for a horror game to play, this is definitely a good pick up as it is short, and that's why you see so many people covering it. If you guys are interested in a gameplay, you can check out mines here, but I'd also suggest watching others' gameplay as well! We may not have all the perspectives of the game, so if you want the full effect, I'd watch multiple gameplays. Hope this review helped you guys, and I hope this doesn't get buried in the reviews lmao
I really thought this was going to be short and sweet to practice some recording settings but instead I had 5 heart attacks wow. One of my absolute favorite horror games I've played because the jump scares were so well done and the atmosphere was incredibly scary and tense!
surprisingly scary very fun time worth checking out for sure the flashlight physics mixed with the atmosphere and creepy enemy this game gets a 9/10 for spoooky times i made a video on this on my channel and got mad spooked if you want to check it out id apreciate it also suport this developer because there stuff is epic
This is hands down the most scary game I've played in my whole life. I've never never never had a game make me take off my headphones and just not want to walk. This game has given me a sense of dread so powerful. This is a must play but is terrifying.
What a rush! This is one of the best atmospheres I have seen in an itch.io horror game. One of my top 5's of all time now as well. The jumpscares were on point, the music/silence gave it an amazing creep factor, the graphics were outstanding, and the gameplay was AMAZING! An instant 5/5 from me, the homeless maniac chasing us around was freaky, I loved it.. lol
