Looks nice as hell, creepy atmosphere and nice graphics, but 5 minutes into the game it starts giving cheap jumpscares with loud sounds kinda defeats the whole aesthetic, not for me but a good game for those who are into this kinda stuff...

I got to the end!
Literally the words out of my mouth "This looks interesting, but there is no way this is scary with enemies looking like that"
I almost had a panic attack

Is there a way to invert Y axis on mouse?

I'm still waiting to hear something about this, it makes the game unplayable for me

Deppart is a chilling horror game that masterfully fuses atmospheric tension with shooter elements. Its eerie environments and heart-pounding jump scares will keep you on the edge of your seat. Deppart is an absolute must-play for fans of both horror and shooter genres.

P.S  I was not able to Finish it to darn scary

Truly the most TERRIFYING first person shooter game ever!!!! Once again you have done it N4BA my hats off for ya! Honestly I've always complained about not having a weapon in horror games and I had one but it really didn't make a difference whatsoever :'(
The game is gorgeously horrifying, the atmosphere is very unsettling and you cant see SH**!
Game is pretty hard - not gonna lie, your character will have this mass panic attack (Maybe its just me) every time something comes out. So if your looking for a challenge here it is!

I did not beat the game xD 10 likes and ill try again maybe.....

This game is literally terrifying

Deppart; a dash cam type of game, proves, again, that this solo dev understands horror like no-one else. The game, albeit short, is one of the creepiest things I've played this year. Tense, spooky and with an ambience taken straight out of a nightmare, you'll soon be looking over your own shoulder just to make sure nothing is lurking around.

The aim and shooting mechanics do need some work, as it made the last minutes of gameplay more infuriating than creepy, but being N4ba's first foray into FPS gaming, it's understandable. The game runs perfectly on Steam Deck, although controllers needed a bit of fumbling to work perfectly.

Try it now and you won't regret it. Or will you?

(The game is not for the faint of heart...You are warned...)

May I offer some feedback? I can see what you're trying to do with the delayed camera movement, for that realism, but it's dizzying and will make players confused and nauseous. However you can achieve the "gun moves first, camera follows" visual effect without the camera lag by having the camera directly controlled by the mouse like a normal FPS but the gun is offset by how much the camera has moved * a multiplier, so the gun pushes ahead faster. You can add perlin noise randomisation to make it feel a bit more natural too.

The future of horror games is here! This will be #1 on Itchio in due time. Left some little notes at the end of the video!
